They have never let me down and have always made sure that I walk away satisfied for the most part. I did have one bad experience with a chat tech that I can’t believe actually happened, that being said, I never actually pursued and action with them over it.
HostGator offers 24/7 phone support via their 800 number, live chat (which is my favorite feature as I don’t have to talk to anyone) and of course email/ticket support.

The most impressive part of HostGator’s support service is that they set you up to never need to call them. They have a HUGE knowledge base online that answers just about any question you could ever ask them, and it goes into extreme detail with step by step instructions for everything. Many of these tutorials also contain video, so you don’t even have to bother to read.

Overall, HostGator is a great company to work with and I can honestly say I haven’t had much to complain about when working with them. The only downside that I can really mention is that their pricing is a few bucks higher than many other hosting companies, but with the support and features they have to offer, along with great server speed, it’s worth the few extra dollars if your looking for a good shared hosting company.
